(source)Before He-Man became a lame ass kiddy cartoon, it was a bitchin small toyline and comic series.... 4 issues before it was turned to poop. Here is the first one, showing He-Man's "Origin". Note the lack of any alter-ego. Also note BEASTMAN's appearance. This book is the only time he looks like this. The next time he is seen is in the book "Vengeance of Skeletor" (one of the 4 early books), where he looks like the toy and cartoon, and how most remember him. Click images to enlarge and read.
